Source: I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book whatsoever; it's my true opinion only.

I received a physical of this from Macmillan Children's Books. Thank you to the publisher for giving me a chance to read and review this.

It honestly feels like I have been waiting for eternity to read the sequel to Unremembered
I loved the first book SO much, and I have literally raved about it to so many people that they have got so fed up with me talking about it, that they purchase it. (It's nice to have that sort of power).

I went into Unforgotten with so many flash backs to the first book. I thought I was going to need to re-read the first book to re-capture my thoughts, but it wasn't needed. Things were explained well.

The story carries off exactly where the first book left. I like books that are fast-paced; where there is always something happening, and this book didn't disappoint.
There was so much action, and it contained a fantastic adventure.

Following Sera the main protagonist on her journey was so interesting. I like the intensity and going from the past to the future was awesome. I liked having the time-travelling aspect. It made things so much better.
The storyline to Unforgotten captivated me just like Unremembered did. Normally some sequels have a hard time being as good as the first book, but this one did not disappoint one bit. I loved it just as much as the first.

Sera is a fantastic character. She is brave, determined and strong. She wants to be more human and to have freedom from being controlled. This is what makes her different and a great character. She doesn't have a bad side to her at all as she wants to do good in the world and cares for the ones she loves. She really tells the story well.

Kaelen is a new character that we meet in the series. He is so interesting. I liked learning about him and seeing what intentions he has.

The bond between Sera and Kaelen in this story is what I liked. I wanted to see more of them and how they would work together.

Unfortunately we don't get to see a lot of Zen in this book because he is unwell. Hopefully we do see more of him in the future as he is a good character.

What Jessica Brody does so well is she creates character that you want to meet in real life. Her writing is so fantastic that it flows so easily when you read. You connect well with the main characters and can't help but continue.

In the story it contains action and adventure, and a small amount of romance is involved. But what I liked was that the romance didn't take over from the story.

Unforgotten has short chapters which all have titles that refer to the chapters. It's also written in first person.

The ending of the book was so good, and now I can't wait to read the next book. Thanks again to Jessica Brody for writing such amazing books. Now I have to wait for another book in the series, ha ha.

This series I recommend absolutely everyone to check out. They're one of my all time favourite books, and that's why I gave this sequel five stars.

I hope you have enjoyed this review.

Happy reading =)
