My Sister's Reaper by Dorothy Dreyer

Sixteen-year-old Zadie’s first mistake was telling the boy she liked she could bring her dead sister back to life. Her second mistake was actually doing it.

When Zadie accidentally messes with the Reaper’s Rite that should have claimed her sister Mara, things go horribly wrong. Mara isn’t the same anymore—Zadie isn’t even sure she’s completely human, and to top it off, a Reaper is determined to collect Mara’s soul no matter what. Now Zadie must figure out how to defeat her sister’s Reaper, or let Mara die … this time for good.

REVIEW!

 my sisters reaper

My thoughts:

The synopsis of this book sounds absolutely fantastic, so I was really looking forwards to reading this book.
I wasn't disappointed. It was really enjoyable.
I haven't read a lot of stories about reaper's and death, so this book was like a breath of fresh air to me.
I really like the cover of this book. It's very colourful, and you can tell the girl is on the lookout for the reaper; like she is being watched. It suits the book well.
The storyline in general is really interesting.
The writing is really addictive, gripping and I found myself flying through this book because it was very easy going, which I liked.
The structure is in first person, and I always like stories told from a first person narrative. I like hearing the main characters thoughts, and I always connect to them more.
The characters are all well developed, and I enjoyed reading about them.
The beginning of the book I found really interesting. Everything was explained well, and we got introduced to all the characters.
The ending of the book was really sweet and ended the book well.
Overall I really liked this book, and that's why I gave it four stars.
I recommend this book to anyone that's into the paranormal, romance and friendship.

Happy reading =)
