Review: The Slither Sisters by Charles Gilman

Title: The Slither Sisters
Author: Charles Gilman
Series: Tales from Lovecraft Middle School
Publisher: Quirk
Rating: 5/5 stars

Synopsis:
Robert Arthur and his friends are back again in the adventures of Lovecraft Middle School. Two children who disappeared during Professor Gargoyle have miraculously returned, and Robert is curious as something seems different about them. Can Robert, Glenn and Karina discover the secrets between these slithery girls as well as saving the school once more?

I received the physical copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. As I have said previously, I don't often read middle grade books, but I managed to read the first two books really quickly. Just like the first story, you follow the characters in their adventures.
The characters are just as fantastic, and the mysteries are still interesting.
The beginning of the book really captured my attention and I wanted to read more.
I love the general structure to the book. There are illustrations throughout the book that helps you connect with it and picture the story.
I love the cover. I think it's so fascinating and grabs your attention.
I really can't wait to read the next book as I want to know more, and the ending hooked me.
Overall I'm going to give this book five stars because I loved the storyline, the writing style and the characters were portrayed well.
I recommend this book to anyone. Even if you aren't young, people of any age will enjoy this.

Happy reading =)
